The Alaska Tech Prep Consortium was created to streamline the learning process and set high academic standards for students aiming for careers in technical fields. The Consortium was formed in 2004 to help Alaska meet the requirements of the Carl Perkins Act and strengthen the bridge between secondary and higher education.
